This clever solar powered light combines 15 warm white LEDs with posable, waterproof plastic wrapped metal to give the effect of a stem of wild fennel. The stem and head might look slightly industrial when first removed from its packet but once set up and illuminated its charm becomes very clear.

The clever solar panel attached to the battery unit sucks in sunlight and charges during the day. When the sun goes in, the 15 twinkling LED lights switch on automatically, lighting for up to 6 hours. Simply place your solar / battery unit in a good spot not more than 3 metres away from the Fennel (that's the length of the lead!) and you'll enjoy magical light night after night.

The Fennel Solar Light Stick stands 100cm tall including the stake, stem and 'flower' section which is approx 35cm in diameter. Each light includes a built-in rechargeable battery and has a back up compartment which can take one standard AA battery to support the LEDs when sun levels are low (extra battery not included).
